Shabnam is an LA-based composer, music producer, audio engineer, pianist, and audiovisual artist originally from Tehran, Iran. After moving to the U.S. 10 years ago, she continued building her path in music, combining classical piano training with a passion for composition, scoring for media, and music technology.

Her work focuses on storytelling through music, with experience composing original scores for short films and animation, as well as producing and engineering for artists across different genres and backgrounds. Through her education and freelance work, she has developed strong expertise in composition, orchestration, arrangement, recording, mixing, notation, session management, and ensemble performance.

Shabnam also works in multimedia and installation art. Her interactive audiovisual installation, Gisovān: Voicing a Revolution, centered on the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran, was showcased in Valencia, Spain (2023) and Paris, France (2024).

She is currently working as a freelance composer and producer in Los Angeles, while continuing to collaborate, build community, and grow within the film scoring and music industry.
